
Rick Andersen is a principal of Andersen Jones and serves as the agency’s Creative Director/Copy. Andersen’s background includes twelve years of sales and marketing experience with the American Hospital Supply Corporation, where he carried the bag for three years before moving into marketing management for medical/surgical disposables and intraocular lenses.
Andersen brings a unique blend of hands-on medical marketing experience and creative talent to the agency’s work. His problem-solving approach to marketing challenges has resulted in many notable successes. The award-winning DTC campaign for Mentor breast implants is one such example. Combining print ads in national women’s magazines with network television spots, including product placement on ABC’s Extreme Makeover, and web advertising, the campaign generated more than 300,000 inquiries and rocketed Mentor into the market leadership position.
Andersen holds a B.S. in Biology from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Southern California.
